We've been coming to Kiawah for a decade, and decided to rent a house for some extra space - boy did this deliver! It fit two families (10 people total) so comfortably. The pictures give you a great idea of the space. We also loved how close it was to the beach. The house itself needs some updating, and a good deep clean (specifically windows/skylights, dusting of cobwebs and a good wipe down of the kitchen cabinets), but we know the price reflected this. Casago Charleston, however was very disappointing. Prior to our trip we were notified that the dishwasher would be out for the first 5 days - but they offered us a 10% compensation. We have not received this yet. They keep saying "they have to check with their team", even though they are the ones that offered it to us. So much time has been spent trying to communicate with them. We will now be going through Airbnb Resolution Center.
Definition of an older beach house. It is a lived in and comfortable house to stay in!
