The Lake House at Seabrook gives guests access (for a fee) to an indoor heated pool, a fitness center, fitness classes, and a library. Dining and shopping at Freshfields Village are less than five miles away. This home is less than half a mile from St. Christopher Camp and Conference Center. Fine dining and local historical tours are a 24-mile drive away in downtown Charleston.

Great location, Seabrook Island is lovely, very close to beach, everything you could want in a beach house
Our first time in Seabrook and we loved the island. The house was walkable to everything. Will not stay in this unit again and disappointed in Casagos response. The unit is in significant need of repair and updating. On our 3rd day I contacted Casago with a list of approx 10 concerns from large to small items, they promptly replied that they would forward to the local office. A local agent stopped by the home (without notice but we were flexible) and he was very kind but there was nothing that could be done at that time. I requested Casago reconsider the weekly rate that we paid and for future guests until the repairs were made. They responded they would take my concerns and get back, and now almost 2 weeks after check-out still no word. The laminate kitchen counters are raised, cracked, flaking off throughout (we use the kitchen a lot-serious issue for mold and bacteria), master bed is awful (you can feel the springs), standing water in the dryer, just to name a few.
We really enjoyed our stay. We really like the bike-ability of the community and the beaches were great. Close enough to Charleston, but no need to leave the island if you didn’t want to.
