The master bedroom opens to the balcony and includes an en suite bathroom with a newly installed giant walk-in shower. Not only has the master bathroom been updated but the other bathrooms have received remodels as well! Prepare meals in your well-equipped, full kitchen and then dine together at the adjacent table for six or al fresco on the balcony. Guests of this vacation rental will also have access to two seasonal outdoor pools.
If you prefer to stay on the island, this condo is located right in the heart of Folly Beach where you'll be surrounded by restaurants offering different cuisine. Folly Beach is also the perfect place to indulge in several outdoor activities such as swimming, surfing, fishing, beach combing, and boating. Sign up at the local rental shops for surfing or paddle board lessons, or look for companies that offer guided kayak tours or boat tours, including the Charleston Kayak Company and Absolute Reel Screamer Charters. There were seven of us for a family vacation, and the space was perfect for that number. Two bedrooms with private bathrooms and two bedrooms with a shared bathroom. After we initially booked, the unit sold to a new owner, who communicated well and honored our reservation. There was a bit of wear and tear on the place which we assumed was left over from the previous owner (i.e. leak in sink, ice machine not functioning, washing machine making loud sounds), but nothing that really negatively impacted our experience, and once we brought things to their attention they promptly sent maintenance to address it. Some of the amenities for a beachfront unit were a bit sparse (no beach towels, chairs, or umbrellas), but the owner offered recommendations for places to rent nearby. Kitchen supplies also a bit limited if you’re planning to cook, but plenty of restaurants within walking distance if you’re not. Nice patio space, super close to the beach, if we come back to the area we’d rent again!
The unit was clean and well stocked with utensils in the kitchen. The location of the unit was great. We had some issues with the handle breaking off the sink in the kitchen and they came out right away. They communicated very well.
Weather was cold but the condo was perfect! Hosts were very responsive and helpful!
