The spacious kitchen has all the necessities for making delicious meals together. Off the kitchen is a covered deck where you can relax while being surrounded by the green foliage of palm trees. The location is fantastic; a 3-minute walk to a nice stretch of beach. Also close to Main Street with several great restaurants, bars, shops, and local spots to explore.
It was spacious with plenty of room for our group; we loved having both indoor and outdoor space for dining and lounging. It was fairly clean overall. The kitchen also had a good mix of basic supplies… we cooked breakfast and several dinners without issue.
That said, there were a few shortcomings. Some essentials were lacking: only one trash bag, slow draining showers and not enough towels, en suite bed was saggy and extremely creaky that my partner and I ended up sleeping apart most nights. Also, every single throw pillow in the house was noticeably dirty.
Our biggest disappointment was that for a beach house in a seafood-famous area, there was no large pot for a low-country boil. We decided to leave the one we bought so others can enjoy this tradition.
