The Blue Goose is your perfect home away from home. Two blocks from the beach and five minutes to Folly Center St, it’s perfect for couples or families with kids. This designer beach house is located in a quiet neighborhood with beach access only one home away - it's exactly what you need when you visit Folly.
Step inside to a pristine living space, with brand new floors installed in December 2023. The open-air feel will make you feel instantly relaxed. The living room offers all the comforts of home, while the beachy decor reminds you you’re on a beautiful beach vacation. Recline on the sectional and watch a movie or favorite TV show after a long day at Folly Beach. Also in the living room is a dedicated workspace for the remote worker or student of the group. The spacious kitchen has all the necessities for making delicious meals together. Off the kitchen is a covered deck where you can relax while being surrounded by the green foliage of palm trees. Be sure to take advantage of all the deck has to offer, including a grill and outdoor dining space. Guests can even hear the ocean waves from the deck.
Games galore! Play cornhole or challenge each other to Ping-Pong tournaments in the spacious garage.
This home is in the perfect location for guests hoping to enjoy all that Folly Beach has to offer including beautiful beaches, a golf course, and local shops and restaurants. And for guests wanting to explore a city, Charleston is just a short drive away.

Fantastic location and a beautiful house! Plenty of room for five adults (as long as a few people don’t mind sleeping on bunk beds). A very short walk to the beach and to Center Street. Definitely would stay here again!

4 1/2 Stars for the Blue Goose! The location is fantastic; a 3-minute walk to a nice stretch of beach. Also close to Main Street with several great restaurants, bars, shops, and local spots to explore. It was spacious with plenty of room for our group; we loved having both indoor and outdoor space for dining and lounging. It was fairly clean overall. The kitchen also had a good mix of basic supplies… we cooked breakfast and several dinners without issue. That said, there were a few shortcomings. Some essentials were lacking: only one trash bag, slow draining showers and not enough towels, en suite bed was saggy and extremely creaky that my partner and I ended up sleeping apart most nights. Also, every single throw pillow in the house was noticeably dirty. Our biggest disappointment was that for a beach house in a seafood-famous area, there was no large pot for a low-country boil. We decided to leave the one we bought so others can enjoy this tradition. Overall, we had a great stay!
