Marsh-view home with large rooftop deck & outdoor shower - steps from beach

The location was hard to find due to very overgrown bushes right at the road that limit your ability to see the house. We missed the turn because of it. Great location, 2 minute walk to the beach. We received a message a couple hours before and said the house wasn’t ready, so we had to check in an hour later. House was relatively clean, but some corners were definitely cut including the hand soap being filled with water. I messaged inquiring about both and they responded “we’ll communicate with our team and get back to you” in which they did not. We had a couple other concerns, like someone coming to do yard work without a notice, in which we were given the same response. Overall it was an okay stay.

The location of the house was fantastic, just a short walk across the street to the beautiful spacious sandy beach. The waves were perfect for boogie boarding. This area of Folly beach is so much quieter and less crowded than the other end of the island which really suited us. Loved all the space in the house it really fits 8 people - chairs and table space for everyone. Really enjoyed the roof deck view and the quiet of your marsh dock for a few minutes of solitude.

Lovely place that was less than 3 miles away from bars and restaurants! Bert’s convenient store open 24/7 is a must to go and visit! A place that would be fun if you took your family too!
