The gourmet, fully-equipped kitchen has granite countertops, stone backsplash, built-in appliances. The adjoining dining area has comfortable seating for four. The well-appointed living room opens to the sunroom. Casement windows, plantation shutters, expansive views of the lagoons from the dining room, living room, sunroom, master bedroom stream light into the villa. Our stay was wonderful overall. Directions to get there and enter were clear. Villa was clean, comfortable, quiet. Kitchen perfect for cooking. Rental company friendly- leave some time for them to respond (avg response time 5 hours per AirBnB app). It was our first trip to Kiawah and the villa had no maps, visitor info, or "rules of the road" to explain how the island works (e.g., boardwalks with beach access, no public parking in many places). Grab a map up the road from the concierge at The Sanctuary and stop a local to ask details about beach access, bike paths, and best sunset views - everyone is very kind. None of the TVs worked and no instructions available (in fairness we didn't reach out for help). Villa advertises "close to beach" but after booking you find out they provide no beach chairs, towels or umbrellas-you can rent them from beach services but will cost $45 per day. Now that we know what to expect we would stay again but more info upfront would really have been ideal.
This condo was beautiful. Wonderfully set up with comfortable and clean spaces to rest. Bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious and squeaky clean. The neighborhood is quiet, beautiful, and close to all kinds of activities like a bike path, pickleball, tennis, and the beach. We saw deer, turtles, and a small gater! Would absolutely stay again. Thank you for the nice condo!
Very clean & comfortable 2 bedroom, single floor condo. Although it's a ground floor unit, you still must climb up a short set of stairs. No real view of the pond out back due to heavy foliage.
