Family-friendly beach cottage w/deck, screened porch, grill

This is a unique house so I will give a full review so no one is surprised. If you come to Folly to exist outside—this is the PERFECT place for you. It is so close to the beach. There is a soothing large, screened in front porch with a bed swing. There is a stunning huge back deck with a bar and tv. Finally the back yard is beautiful and has a great fire pit. If you like to hang out inside a large, open, airy house—this is not the place for you. The living room is enough. There is no dining room. The kitchen is tiny and old and run down (but quite well stocked which was nice). Bedrooms are good size though. Finally, if you like to walk to town, it’s a bit far out there. Not impossible but not close either. Half my crew loved the house and half less so. It was still a great house in a great location and we had a lovely stay.

We absolutely loved this home! It has been well loved and possessed charm and character that we didn't expect. The porch and outside space were our among our favorites (they are even better than the pictures in the listing) but the old floors, cozy bedding, and overall peaceful setting really made this place special. The host was incredibly responsive and quickly resolved an issue we had with the microwave. The location of this house couldn't be more perfect. The distance to the beach was easily walkable, so easy that we popped home for lunch instead of packing and hauling all of our stuff to the beach. It is far enough away from the main part of town that the beach didn't feel crowded, yet we were still able to walk into town to enjoy the shops and restaurants. We 100% recommend this house to anyone looking for a quiet getaway to Folly!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Loved that the walk to the beach was short and that there were 2 separate places to sit- outside by the tv or out front on the screened in porch with a swing. Such a cozy place to stay! We will definitely be wanting to stay here again in the future!
