Elegant home on the boardwalk with 2 balconies & shared pools - walk to beach

There were a few minor things that needed to be repaired which I reported. Other than that, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen well stocked with utensils and the location near the beach and pools was fantastic. My group will be back.

The house itself was great. Clean overall, great location, & being part of the Wild Dunes resort was a huge plus since you get easy access to the beach, pools, restaurants, etc. Overall we genuinely had a great stay & loved the property itself. The biggest issue was really with the management. The pullout couch had visible mold on it, which made it unusable for sleeping. Someone in our group had to sleep on the regular living room couch for 2 out of the 3 nights, and it took until the final day of the trip for management to provide an air mattress despite multiple follow-ups. We also ran out of basic supplies like toilet paper, paper towels, and hand soap on the first day and had to purchase replacements ourselves. Management replied quickly, but the responses lacked resolution. After all of this, they offered a $25 refund, which didn’t even cover the cost of the replacement supplies much less our trouble for the sofa bed. Great property, but the management side needs a lot of work.

Overall, this beach house has so much potential and a lot going for it. The location is absolutely perfect, close to everything and just steps from the beach, which made our stay really convenient and relaxing. The shared pool was also a huge plus and very well enjoyed. Unfortunately, cleanliness was a noticeable issue during our stay. After walking around inside, all of our feet were black, which made it clear the floors hadn’t been properly cleaned. The pull-out couch pillows also didn’t appear very clean, which made us hesitant to use them. We were also told we could check in early at noon, but when we arrived at 2:00 PM, the property was still being cleaned, which was frustrating after planning around that earlier time. Additionally, the lock code on the door didn’t work the entire weekend, which was inconvenient and added unnecessary stress. The check out information was also conflicting from website to pamphlet. Overall, this house has so much potential to be a five star review!
