Cottage with natural wooded view - walking distance to beach/ lots of trails

It’s an older house but was everything we needed for a reasonable price for the area. Beds were comfortable. Easy walk out to the beach. Had all the amenities needed.

We had a great visit. It was very convenient to get to the beach/ocean from the Airbnb. It was a very peaceful place to stay and had everything we expected. There was just a little bit of confusion about where the parking passes would be but when I called they were very helpful. I would definitely stay here again!

This old beach bungalow was fine for what we needed, but I think I will begin to avoid the Vacation Rental company managed Airbnbs from now on. This one felt similar to the last couple we stayed in such that it seems every last bit of money is squeezed out of the place with very little updates to the property or furniture. Furniture was worn out and even had some tears and visible dark spots from wear. Musty smell throughout. Areas with no quarter round on the baseboard and excessive dust and debris was built up underneath it. Master bath shower had mold in all the corners and grout in the tile was worn and dirty in both bathrooms. Did not feel homey like Airbnb's I've stayed in the past where the owner of the home is the one managing it. However, this was an affordable option and we thoroughly enjoyed experiencing Kiawah Island and the location of this stay being in such close proximity to the beach. The island and beaches are spotless and your immersed in the marsh nature everywhere.
