View was outstanding location to beach was walkable although golf cart rental was useful. The house itself could use some maintenance some ceiling fans don’t work well, felt like the rugs needed cleaning, couch was worn out. The entry instructions needed to be updated to be clearer and the code is long. However the location was amazing in a quiet area with lots of sun and smiles.
The house looked like the photos, had everything needed in the kitchen, amazing view over the marsh. Beds were super comfortable, nice to have separate bath for each bedroom, loved the multiple balconies. Only real problem was the air conditioning. When arrived, there were box fans in each bedroom and without those fans, it would not have been bearable. The house was cool, not cold, the entire time and hot at times because the a/c just couldn’t keep up with the heat. House would heat up during the late afternoon because of the huge windows overlooking the marsh. Love the windows but need roll up blinds to block the heat in the late afternoons/early evenings (there are no window coverings in the main room).
We definitely enjoyed our stay! The location was fairly private and off the beaten path. A few updates should be considered. The most important being window blinds in the living space, for privacy and the sun. The screened porch was super for the morning coffee and watching the sun set, but I’d cut down the large bush/tree that blocks the view of the marsh. Finally, for us, the door wouldn’t lock and despite reaching out, no one came to take a look. Fortunately, it’s a very safe environment, with security at the entrances.
